I was dx with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis January 15th, 2004. The years before I was told that I had FMS, but it wasn't until I woke up on Dec. 26th, 2003 with very non-fms symptoms, that prompted an MRI to look specifically for MS. I withheld treatments until our struggle with infertility resulted in the pregnancy of our daughter. I had a natural, birth using hypnobirthing(http://www.hypnobirthing.org) without pain medications. My pregnancy was problem free and very easy, as was my labor and delivery :) I decided not to breastfeed so that I could be free to finally start treatments. I was on Betaseron until we found ourselves pregnant on our own :) But I then had my first relapse, so I was on home IV infusions of Solumedrol. All was perfect with the pregnancy until around 10 weeks, we lost the baby. The medications were not the cause.

Now I am on Copaxon and very happy with it except the site reactions.

Being a mom who is a photographer AND has MS(and I am now told that I still have FMS) is a constant struggle. Oh and add Chronic Depression that is caused by MS and there is a strong family history of it.

Sigh....right now, my biggest hourly/daily struggles are depression and extreme fatigue. I am on anti-depressants as well as a good diet. Its hard for me to get out as I tire so easily.

Its called Positive Thinking Everyday. The blog is about me, my art, other people's arts and crafts, some positive articles and most importantly, my lists of positive things. These are large or small but act as a reminder to me and hopefully others that there is so much to be thankful for, no matter what.
