Hello: I'm a happily married 43 yr. old father of three; Josephine 8 months, Maya 8 and Johann 18 years old. My wife (aka Best Friend, Soul Mate and Saint) is one of the top pro-bono lawyers in the Washington, DC area. She has dedicated her life not only to her family, but to those who are disenfranchised and less fortunate. I'm a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor the size of a small melon at the base of my spine (on the sacrum). I initially was given a terminal diagnosis, however, God blessed my family and I with a miracle surgeon and a final biopsy showing the tumor to be benign once it was removed. Before my 18 hour operation, I was put on several large prayer lists, even on one in Brazil. I accredit the power of prayer and the mercy of Jesus Christ for saving my life. I lost my nerves from the S2 down, and have lost a lot of sensation from the waist down, although I can walk with a walker and hopefully a cane soon. Not only have I been blessed with a wonderful family; parents included; but also friends who are like family to me. I enjoy my wife's gourmet cooking, movies, reading, theology, getting to know God, rocketry, chess, catch and release fishing with Maya, astronomy, programming, helping others, and most of all, I enjoy watching my son Johann, who is one of our area's top high school baseball players, play ball.
