About Me

I have no idea how to do this, lol. I grew up in Park Forest, IL. I had Ewing's Sarcoma at 12. I survived it by having 16 rounds of chemo and a limb salvage surgery. Multiple trauma and surgeries caused severe nerve damage, so I eventually chose amputation as I knew it was the only way to extend my life and end the excruciating pain I had been dealing with for years.

I'm very analytical. I'm a student who's been admitted into the Master's program in Disability Studies and Human Development at UIC. I'm very excited by this as classes start in the a few weeks. I'm pretty intelligent and I'm also a smartass at the same time.

I currently live in Chicago. I get around on crutches easily and I also use a prosthetic (as seen not on TV but in my pic, lol) I'm dev-friendly so long as they're not fetishists. I hate annoying questions and will use sarcasm at my discretion in answering these types of questions.

Other things...I have 2 brothers, one older and one younger. My older brother, Scott, I'm not very close with. My younger brother, Kevin, I am really close with. I've never been married. I have no kids. I do have a cat named Ashes. My nickname is Silent. (There's a few reasons for this.)
