About Me

I am a late Gen Xer with cerebral palsy. I grew up in NY with a very "mainstreamed" life with all its good and bad qualities. I now live in Berkeley, CA with my boyfriend, dog and cat. I'm mostly mobile with the C.P. drunken gate, and currently prefer walking despite its draw-backs. I have been in graduate school forever, completing a degree in mental health services. I also have attention deficit disorder, so grad school has pretty much consumed my life. I am interested in becoming more active in the disability community now that school is almost over and I realize how much of my struggle with it has related to disability issues. I am way more interesting than this bio, but I prefer to kind of tone it down on internet communities these days. But, I am really open to mature discussion and sharing experience and info.
