About Me

I am 53 years old and was paralyzed (T12 incomplete) on November 2, 2006 as the result of car accident that was not my fault. The man that hit me had a terrible driving record and was cited for careless driving and paid a $134.00 fine. He had minimal insurance. I am married, to Gordon who is 55, and have 3 children. Twins, Jason and Todd who are 33 and Eric who is 31. I have 6 grandchildren, Eric Jr, 13, Patrick 11, Alexandria 10, Alexis 9, Trey 6 and Kaya 2. I returned to college one year before my accident and hope to go back next year for the fall semester. There is much to learn about living with a disability and I gladly accept any advice or tips that come my way.
