Myofascial Pain Information
Myofascial pain (also known as myofascial pain syndrome) centers around sensitive points in your muscles called trigger points. It has been linked to headaches, jaw pain, neck pain, low back pain, pelvic pain, and arm and leg pain. As opposed to fibromyalgia's more generalized pain, myofascial pain usually targets a more localized or specific area of the body, often with severe pain.
