Organizations
Access2adventure (a2a) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for people with physical disabilities. We provide unique opportunities to participate in a variety of sports, recreational activities and adventure travel. A2a is based in Rhode Island and serves the southern New England community.
Adaptive Scuba is a training philosophy that addresses the specific needs of a disabled individual, trains to that specific disability, and then prepares that individual to dive with mainstream Open Water Divers.
The Eels on Wheels Adaptive Scuba Program provides people with the opportunity to dive at their own ability level by certifying divers through the Handicapped Scuba Association (HSA).
Founded in 1981, the Handicapped SCUBA Association has dedicated itself to improving the physical and socail well-being of people with disabilities through the sport of SCUBA diving, and in doing so, has become the worldwide leading authority in this field.

RHI Sports believes that sports, recreation, and leisure play important roles in the intrinsic motivation of people with disabilities to re-enter the workforce, develop strong social skills, and improve levels of physical fitness.
Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba
Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba (SUDS) at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) and Bethesda Naval Hospital is designed to help improve the lives of injured soldiers returning from Iraq & Afghanistan. By training the soldiers in a challenging & rewarding activity it can help facilitate the rehabilitation process & promote mobility.
The purpose of Diveheart is to provide and support educational SCUBA diving and snorkeling experience programs that are open to any child, adult, or�veteran with a disability with the hope of providing both physical and psychological therapeutic value to that person.
