See All Major Disability Organizations

The following disability organizations address a broad range of issues. Some focus on advocacy, others on housing, while others either directly provide services for disabled populations or identify appropriate resources and services for people with disabilities. Some may include employment for people with disabilities as part of their missions, while still others may provide grants. All have in common one, however, one overriding mission: improving the lives of those who live with disability.

Disabled Parents Network

The DPN is a resource for parents with disabilities, expectant parents with disabilities, and spouses of disabled parents. The site provides information on disabled parenthood, resources, stories and articles by people who have been through it, and forums for discussion. The association is located in the UK, but much of the information is universal.

Vitalise

Vitalise, based in the UK, is dedicated to providing information and services to those affected by disability.
