Indiana Assistive Technology Act (INDATA)
INDATA is the Indiana Assistive Technology Act and is a part of the ATAP. INDATA services include: information and referral, funding assistance, public awareness and education, device demonstration, device loan, refurbished computers, and equipment reutilization.
Demand manufactures equipment and furniture for people with disabilities. The projects section demonstrates ways that furniture can be modified simply and inexpensively to suit the needs of the individual.
Inclusive Design Education Resource
From the Helen Hamlyn Research Centre Design Council, this site looks at different accessibility issues around the home and recommends solutions. It takes you each step of the way with pictures and discussion.
WebAIM is dedicated to providing people with disabilities with assistive technology, particularly the tools needed for accessible Internet.
A free public service that allows people with hearing or speech loss to stay independent on the phone. STS relay enables people who have a mild to moderate speech disability to place calls with the support of an operator who revoices their words as needed. CTS is for people who are hard of hearing or deaf and have understandable speech. This service enables them to communicate on a special amplified phone with the support of captions. MAT distributes free assistive devices to qualified applicants.
ABLEDATA provides objective information about assistive technology products and rehabilitation equipment available from domestic and international sources.

The ATA is a coalition of resource centers, service providers, and more that work to provide all people with disabilities with the resources they need to access assistive technology.

State listings for alternative finance programs.
Assistive Technology Equipment Loan Programs Resource Center
Organizations that loan assistive products for temporary use or evaluation.
ATF, run by the Association of Blind Citizens, will cover the cost of 50% of adaptive software and devices. Grant requests are submitted to the ABC. Applicants must be legally blind.
