The Ian Tilmann Foundation is dedicated to preventing brain injuries through education and the promotion of wearing safely gear, especially helmets. If you pledge to wear a helmet when skating, you will receive a free helmet.
The BIA, founded in 1980, advocates for those who have sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) by raising awareness with the government and the public.
The Brain Trauma Foundation’s mission is to educate healthcare professionals and medical organizations about the vital treatment of the “secondary damage” of TBIs. BTF has worked with TBI experts to create diagnostic and treatment guidelines for such treatment.
