Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
That Alexander Graham Bell Association helps enhance the lives of those affected by hearing loss. The ogranization educates families, education, and health care professionals on childhood hearing loss.
The Better Hearing Institute (BHI) is a not-for-profit corporation that educates the public about the neglected problem of hearing loss and what can be done about it. Founded in 1973, we are working to:
* Erase the stigma and end the embarrassment that prevents millions of people from seeking help for hearing loss.
* Show the negative consequences of untreated hearing loss for millions of Americans.
* Promote treatment and demonstrate that this is a national problem that can be solved.
Hearing Loss Association of America
HLAA is dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by hearing loss.
National Association of the Deaf
NAD advocates for the equality and rights of people who are deaf and hard of hearing.
National Softball Association for the Deaf
The National Softball Association of the Deaf allows members to particpate in adaptive softball, with annual tournaments.
NTD performs theatrical productions of literature using a collaboration of American Sign Language and the spoken word.
Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc., is dedicated to promoting equal accessibility for the deaf community in media, telecommunications, and information technology.
Its purpose is to foster and regulate uniform rules of competition and provide social outlets for deaf members and their friends; serve as a parent organization of national sports organizations; conduct annual athletic competitions; and assist in the participation of US Teams in international competition.
United States Deaf Ski and Snowboard Association
A sports organization dedicated to fielding the best Deaf skiing and snowboarding teams in the country.
The United States Deaf Golf Association promotes active participation of golf by individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing, and ensures protection of the game's integrity and valued traditions.
