Service Animals

Service animals are any animal that has been trained to assist you in your activities of daily living. Most often this will be a service dog, also called a guide dog or seeing eye dog. But there are also service monkeys, service birds, and even service donkeys. Check with the organizations to find the information you need to make a good service animal choice.

ADI is a coalition for nonprofit organizations that train assistance dogs. ADI's mission is to better all steps of the process, from training to utilization of service dogs to public education about assistance dogs.
