Learning Disabilities Scholarships
There are many scholarships for students with learning disabilities, from a broad range of programs and organizations. Which is smart, because included among famous people with learning disabilities are Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, and billionaire businessman Richard Branson. Not bad for “students with disabilities!”
Scholarships
The Anne Ford Scholarship is a $10,000 award given to a high school senior with an identified learning disability (LD) who will be pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree. Financial data: The $10,000 scholarship will be paid in four yearly installments.
Marion Huber Learning Through Listening Awards
Awards are presented to 6 Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) members who are high school seniors with learning disabilities, in recognition of extraordinary leadership, scholarship, enterprise and service to others. Must have a specific learning disability (visual impairment alone does not indicate eligibility), overall grade average of B or above for grades 10 through 12 and plan to continue formal education.Financial data: $2,000-$6,000.

The Marion Huber Learning Through Listening® (LTL®) Awards
(LTL®) Awards are given to RFB&D members who have learning disabilities. Scholarships are given for demonstrations of enterprise, service to others, extraordinary leadership, and scholarship. Awards are given to six students: the top three winners get $6,000 each, and three special honors winners get $2,000 each. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and have been RFB&D members for at least a year.
Shire, a global specialty biopharmaceutical company, has
expanded its ADHD Scholarship Program. The program is for those in the US
