Development Disabilities Scholastic Excellence Award for Lutherans in Nursing Programs
Provides financial assistance to nursing students who are Lutherans and interested in preparing for a career in the field of developmental disabilities. Financial data: The stipend is $1,500. Number awarded: Up to 2 each year.
Grotto/Job's Daughters Scholarship
Provides financial assistance to members of Job's Daughters who are working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in a dental field, preferably with some training in the field of disabilities. Financial data: The stipend is $1,500. Number awarded: 1 or more each year.
Don Miller Memorial Scholarship
Provides financial assistance to upper-division students preparing for a career serving people with developmental disabilities. Financial data: $1,000. Duration: 1 year. Number awarded: 1 each year.
Sertoma Communicative Disorders Scholarship Program
Students must be accepted into a graduate-level program in speech language pathology and/or audiology at a college or university in the U.S., accredited by the ASHA's Council on Academic Accreditation, plus have a minimum 3.2 GPA for all undergrad and graduate-level course work. Malamazian Memorial Endowed Blind Rehabilitation Scholarship
Awarded annually to students in the Orientation and Mobility Program of the Blind Rehabiliation Department at Western Michigan University.
AMBUCS Therapeutic Tricycles for Disabled Children
Financial assistance to students in an accredited health therapy profession: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, and hearing audiology. Financial data: $500 to $1,500 annually.
