New Sex Positions for Spinal Cord Injured Men
Sex Position On Top
Males striving for good, new sex positions for disabled sex can have intercourse in the “on top” position using the “stuffing” technique. This technique is where a man assumes missionary and has his flaccid (soft) penis tucked into his partner’s vagina or anus.
This can be done using either lover’s fingers. His able-bodied partner should then use a thrusting motion and use his or her pelvic floor muscles in a “sucking” sort of motion. While a reflex erection may occur, the satisfaction of the activity is in the sensation of penetration given placement of the penis.
Sex Position Underneath
Alternatively, and especially in high-level injury situations, the able-bodied partner can kneel over a spinal cord injured male and use his or her fingers to tuck the penis in the vagina or anus. For those wanting to use a catheter during intercourse, the device should be taped in place or a condom can be worn over it to keep it in place.
If erection is possible, have the catheter slide in the penis as it becomes hard. You don’t want the catheter to act as an “anchor” while the penis is flaccid. Be sure to use lube no matter what your mission in assuming these new sex positions for those with spinal cord injury.
