1. Amputee Coalition
This is a non-profit amputee support group that seeks to empower people affected by limb loss through advocacy and support with the magazine inMotion and a toll-free hotline.  A central source for all types of educational information, the Amputee Coalition conducts programs for its members, their families, various professionals, and the public at large to educate them regarding the physical, emotional, and technological issues involving amputees.  They also promote limb loss prevention and advocate for the rights of amputees.
