Cruising is a very accessible way to see Pacific Mexico; as the newer ships that sail this route boast nicely outfitted wheelchair-accessible cabins, plus very accessible shipboard facilities. Add in the budget price tag, and the convenience of being able to see a variety of ports while unpacking once; and you can begin to see why a Pacific Mexico cruise is a great choice for wheelchair-users and slow walkers.
And although most of the ship sponsored shore excursions on this route are not wheelchair-accessible, it's still possible to plan private tours that meet your access needs. Granted, it takes a little research; however the good news is, more local operators now offer accessible tours. With that in mind, here's a sampling of some accessible shore offerings for your next Pacific Mexico cruise.
